the sound of crickets

back in cyber!! mixed feelings . really not looking forward to starting classes again. but cant wait to see my peeps! =))

went to a camping trip in hulu langat for 3 days. one of the best i've been too!! the scenery was totally GORGEOUS!! we were surrounded by treeeeees all around. right next to a river. the nights were filled with thousands of stars. the sky was clear. we took the time to just sit under the stars,on top of a mountain, and think about all of God's creations which we always take for granted. it was pitch black, and quiet, the peaceful kind. with only the occasional sound of the crickets singing. which was kinda soothing. at that time, u just felt like crying. especially when they talk about our brothers n sisters in palestine. and how, once, a long time ago, they had all this as well. their nights were also peaceful n filled with the sound of crickets doing their thing. now, they often sleep in terror, the fear that tonight might be the last night for them or one of their loved ones. they doze off, tired..after spending the whole night being being afraid. no peaceful crickets, just the scary blasting of bombs. not the kind of lullaby u and i sleep too. the sound of crickets ~ we often dont even hear it kan?.. yet another thing we take for granted.
